It Was Spoken, It Is Fulfilled

This Easter Sunday, Crosswalk Church gathered for a full morning of worship and the Word. We sang songs of celebration, including "Lion," "The Wonderful Blood," and "In Christ Alone," and then heard a message straight from the resurrection account. Pastor Josh Huisman opens Luke 24:1-35, to show us why the resurrection is the hinge on which all of history turns. From the women at the empty tomb to the two disciples on the road to Emmaus, the passage keeps returning to one theme: Jesus had told them. He had spoken it. The empty tomb isn't the end of the story, it's the beginning of a whole new one.
